A Linden on my sim?
Today I TPed back from the Okiya after zoning out there for awhile when I had to work again, and there was a Linden dressed in a kimono at my sim! Hark! LOL Well she perhaps was interested in the garden, but she also had a tester tag on so I thought for a second she was testing something out on my sim, lucky me! Probably not.. I just had to blog about it tho... :-)
Blue Lotus Okiya : Geisha Maiko debut

Today I attended the maiko debut of a geisha at the Blue Lotus Okiya. It was a "level-up" ceremony, so to speak, for a geisha, involving a san-san-kudo ceremony, a vocal and dance and music presentation, and a story. The maiko is described by the host as thus: "As maiko, she isn't a beginner anymore, but also no highly-skilled Geisha yet. So far she already has learnt a lot, but far more awaits her; time has come where she simply has to make progress."
If you have not taken part in geisha culture in SL, you're missing out on a fascinating part of Japanese culture. It is a learning experience for me, as well as a way to experience Japanese music, and of course make new friends!

Here is the SLURL where you can go to join the Blue Lotus update group (external group notifier, no SL group slot required) to get notifications of events and find more information. There is an infohub closeby, as well as a market.

Coda Cazalet concert 08/07
I was excited to host a concert at my ampitheater on Thursday, 8/7 at 5PM SLT with the lovely Coda Cazalet. She played a variety of songs including some jazz classics like Night In Tunisia, where she played sax, as well as the one Gerry Rafferty song I can never remember the name of, which she sang to.
At peak we had 25 avatars there, so it was a great turnout, and some good friends of mine stopped by as well.
I will be posting some pictures here shortly when I retrieve them from my other machine.

First Post
Hi all, my name is Siddhartha Fonda and this is my new blog about the Second Life sim named Itsari. I bought this sim in June of 2007 and it has been a wonderful experience managing the sim. I will post more about that soon, but for now, I just wanted to get this blog off the ground.
